About Peel
Last modified: December 4, 2011Peel District Mountain Bike Club is a club that currently cater’s for the Downhill Mountain Biker.
You can join PDMBC by downloading the form from our website Join , and mail it to us (PO Box 673, Rockingham 6168), or just bring it with you to a PDMBC event and join on the day. If you just want to try out, you don’t need to join and can just pay an additional $15 for a day membership to cover you for that day.
Downhill
PDMBC offers the following DH classes at its events:
Elite 19+
Elite woman
Expert 19+
Veterans 30-39
Masters 40-49
U19 17-18
U17 15-16
U15 13-14
U13 12 an Under
Sport Men Open Age
*Fun 18+ Great class for first time racers that are simple wanting to find out what DH racing is all about with out the fuss of the other slightly more competitive classes.
Full face helmets and solid bar ends are compulsory for all competitors and you will not be able to race without them. All events have a shuttle service to take riders to the top of the downhill courses, and the cost of this is incorporated into the entry fee. The club also has some spare helmet’s if required.
