Calling all members new and old to come and have a say about this years season.

October 22nd-23rd    State champs   in  Dwellingup

Ok, there will a temporary closure of the DH trails at Tom’s Crossing starting from the 5th of November to around the 22nd at this stage.

This is due to the re-development of the Baden Powell Camp grounds, the bottom area of the trails will be inaccessible as the car park area and bottom road are being used as storage area’s for machinery and log stock piling during the course of this operation.

DEC does apologise for the late notice, myself from pdmbc have been working as closely I can with DEC to try and give as much notice as possible but this is as good as we could get.

Murray Valley is still open for riding on the other side of the river.

Firstly thanks to all our Volunteers who helped through out the weekend, From Marshalling, Bus Driving, Catering, Food Delivery and to all those that have helped out in some form at any race through 2010, with out you, we can’t do it.

The Riders, Thanks for your patience on Sunday and the all round good spirit both days on the hill, to the guys that suffered Injury’s, get well soon ready for a 2011 assault.

Firstly we would like to sincerely Apologize for the Timing error that resulted in the loss of the second run, the timing error couldn’t have had happened at a worse time for us being at the Premier Event to end WA’s season.

We apologize to those who would have obviously been handicapped in some way with results only being taken from Run 1.

Bec & Myself who control the timing are just as gutted about the situation as we do pride our self on bringing high quality results every race.

For every racers Interest,

For those who like to get a bit wild on there gear, most of the event sponsors will also be on site for any repairs or little tweaks you may need for race day Sunday,

Paul on Behalf of Malaga Cycles, Clint From Taylors, Also Craig an Jodie from Carine Cott Cycles, Jodie will also have his suspension servicing gear on hand Sunday if needed.

Ok, as we are fast approaching this Event for what should be a great end to the year, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for those who can help out and and make a great Weekend even better.

We are looking for as many people as possible to stick their hands up from Marshalls to Drivers to General Volunteers.

We understand for those who wish to watch their friends or family compete, so the more that jump on board, the more we can roster people into smaller shifts so everyone has pleasant weekend and we all walk away knowing that we all made a good weekend become the greatest of the year.

All Volunteers will be provided with Free Food and Refreshments.

Please Note:

This Is a Sponsored Event, only those who have given Sponsorship to the Event will be allowed Sign age in the Event Area and upon the Race Course, they are also permitted to sell goods from there team marquees.

If you wish to have a stand or a Team area around the main event area, we will only a limited amount of room to work with which is available at a nominal fee which will be put into the prize purse of the event.

Those that are already sponsoring the event will have the priority say on positions.

The food tent (or as we like to call it, the restaurant on the hill!) will be open on both Saturday and Sunday.
We will be selling our usual hamburgers, chicken burgers and sausages, and there will also be hot pies and beef and gravy rolls.
Don’t forget breakfast on Sunday morning – bacon and egg burgers made with rolls still warm from the Dwellingup shop.
Cold drinks, including soft drinks, water and energy drinks as well as lollies and chocolate bars will be on sale to keep your energy levels up!!
Coffee and tea and home made cakes will be available all weekend. There will be tables and chairs at the tent so you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
All proceeds from the food tent go straight to the club so please support us in our efforts. We look forward to a successful, fun weekend for all.
