Last night (Saturday 21st of May) Rockingham Cycle City was broken into.

The offenders were three Aboriginal men aged between 15 and 25 years.

The stole the following:

- Scott Voltage FR30. A white Scott dual suspension Freeride bike.

- Specialized P3. Black/brown in colour. Marzocchi DJ forks. Sun S-type rims. Juicy 3′s etc.

- Avanti Flow 1. A black and white 4X bike, RST forks, mechanical disc brakes. Red hubs.

- Avanti Flow 2. A black and white 4X bike. Marzocchi forks. Juicy 3 brakes. E13 guide.

- Avanti Derelikt LTD (x2). Mainly white, with red and black highlights. Multicolours everywhere, purple and orange grips, purple Rockshox Argyle forks. High end spec (Juicy 7′s, Holzfeller everything, E13 guide, X9).

- Avanti Solo. Fixed gear bike. Black with white rims. Flat handlebars.

- Stolen Sinner BMX. A red, brakeless BMX with “STLN” on the headtube. Black forks. Red rims.

- An ABD BMX (unsure of details at this point).

- A range of Fox jerseys, backpacks, hats, etc.

- An Alpinestars racekit. Long sleeve jersey, long pants. Black and white.

The offenders rode off on the bikes, indicating that the theft was not professional, hence the bikes are likely to remain in the greater Perth area. These are high end bikes and are easy to identify. If you see any of these bikes for sale online/in a cash convertor store/in the quakka, or been ridden around your local area by someone you suspect is not a rightful owner, please contact Rockingham Cycle City on 9527 4456.

IMPORTANT Dwellingup DH Temp Trail Closures

Ok, there will a temporary closure of the DH trails at Tom’s Crossing starting from the 5th of November to around the 22nd at this stage.

This is due to the re-development of the Baden Powell Camp grounds, the bottom area of the trails will be inaccessible as the car park area and bottom road are being used as storage area’s for machinery and log stock piling during the course of this operation.

DEC does apologise for the late notice, myself from pdmbc have been working as closely I can with DEC to try and give as much notice as possible but this is as good as we could get.

Murray Valley is still open for riding on the other side of the river.
