Dwellingups finest walked the red carpet for Benny Bells farewell party while Boddingtons best proceeded to paint it technicolour!From what i have been told the night went really well with Benny accepting the challenge and taking home in excess of $300 for losing all of his flea infested fro including stubble!Mick got the party started and kept it going right up until 3am then decided to shut it down when the Eb ran out and finally realising that he was the only one still kicking. A young ladies father came searching for his pride and joy but was swiftly told to take a ticket and join the queue by Dobbo nice work,Triggaz was in fine form as usual looking to back things up after last weekends main event at the Ballajura.Chrisso nursed his “silver princess” to another faultless victory,Wendy in true Dwelli style busted out the middies around smoko but put the chickens to bed early (thats what they do in the bush aye?)Matt and Ben formed one and kept each other semi upright pretty much all night and Laird represented the Dwelli massif in typical gangsta stylee!And the peoples champ Bitch kept the funnel flowing in and out. I spoke to Mick and wendy Saturday arvo and they were sick as Gary Glitter at play group still, but they wanted to say a big thankyou on behalf of the Bell family especially Benny to Peel Mountain Bike Club,Malaga Cycles,Rockingham Hotel,Dobbo,Dwellingup Community Hotel and all the other generous people that made this all happen with out you it wouldnt be.Ryan “Beearch” Andrews weapon of choice

Thats right who would have thought “Peels” own “Benjamin Eduardo Jeramiah Beavis Bell” is of to The USA to ink a deal with The “Yeti Regional Team” and race some “NORBAS” and head up to Canada for a World Cup then of to “Whistler” for 4 cross and a Norba Dh.Iam not completely informed on the whole deal but he has told me that “Fox Racing” and “Shimano” are onboard.He heads of at the end of April sometime around the 27th and wont be heading home until August after stopping in N.Z for the UCI World Championships racing for the Australian Junior Team coached by Scott Sharples.

He has been busting his chops at the local orchard on $5 an hour or there abouts so I think he might have about $100 plus gst saved up for the big trip,not quite sure how he is going to pay his way when he’s there but the Bloods & the Crips have offered him some night work involving CRACK and a pager.Nah just joshin Mick and Wendy have mortgaged old Martin Road Estate to cover the costs but Iam sure any further financial assistance would be appreciated.Sounds like he might be rooming with Amiel Cavalier (Giant) and Joel Bain (Cannondale) when he gets to San FranSisco so that should be good seeing some familiar faces and the boys will no doubt be showing the local ladies what the Aussies have to offer.

Benny will be trading the Giant Comp for the Big Bad Yeti 303 and hopefully a 4x,xc or dirt jumper (maybe even all of them who knows) for a little training between races which should see him hurting those Yanky hills! I will be speaking with him soon to get the full story so i wil keep you all up to speed as things unfold.

So this Friday the 14th woo!woo! very spooky indeed (even spookier if it was Friday the 13th)there is a farewell party in Dwelli so if you want to catch up for a nice cold stiff OJ on ice (or Vb) and a suasage sizzle with Benny and the Peel crew send me an email at dwaynepurdy@yahoo.com.au and I can give you some directions to the estate in Dwelli.

Once again 3 Chillis provided the the venue for Perths fastest Four Crossers to strut their stuff.The track has under gone a little face lift with the massive vert wall taken out but in its place a nice set of rythyms to step up to step down and a few other mods further down the track.Not quiete sure what the turn out was but it seemed a little down on previous but who cares?Mik was still in form after the off season obviously putting in a little pre season or maybe it is just natural form you make the decision he was hotly contested by some dude who I dont know but he is well quick! Good to see Ben Shingler back in Perth he rocked up on his new stp and proceeded to go big all the way down but came un stuck a few times so he didnt place to high but oh well I think he will lay some smack down on the down hiller when the first dh race comes up.Also I think his name is Deon man this cat has gained some skills from somewhere since last year not saying he didnt have them before but hey keep an eye out for him fellas and his little red headed buddy Jack was hot on his tail and took him out in his final run, Iam not sure what the out come was things were starting to get a little fuzzy by then something to do with the dwelli crew dosing me up on Emu Draught! I would of been ok if it was Vb.Any way I took the old Manic up for a roll but ended up doing an X7,chain,hanger and a couple of spokes in pracy so that was me out,probably a good thing I was riding like a tool having not had any practise.Another top day from 3 Chillis and just a reminder dont lay strips when leaving it just aint the right thing to do you know who you are (Draino)?sorry 3 Chillis.
