My hand. A bit bent. Overshot the landing on a pretty kicky double at the end of a fast section. it was on the first run of sat practice and had just nailed the fastest section of the course and hit the jump too hot. landed abit sideways and fell on my hand. all my weight went onto my middle finger and dislocated it. puffed up a fair bit so couldn’t straighten it to hang onto the bars.

Going Up!

Went to the Red Bull Air Race with the crew on Sunday and we scored the best seats in Perth, Sproggys Dad has access to the roof of one of the buildings in the city so we all rode our bikes in and Sproggs wife Vanja prepared a nice spread for us for lunch while we watched the planes go nuts. I was looking over to the roof of the building next to us and there was this bloke in a green shirt who looked exactly like Walshy and I was positive it was but Triggaz was positive it wasnt so he bet me a carton that it wasnt so Ben called out Adrian and yep it deffinately was how much of a spin out is it that you can be randomly on top of some building in Perth and someone you know is doing the same thing on the building beside you! I’ll have a carton of Bulliets please Triggaz.

Chris Jongewaard, was physically and emotionally shattered after the Commonwealth Games cross country event where he led until the final lap when his body could take no more.

Renee Junga and Wade Bootes are also nominated in BMX categories.

After 2 years hard work Bukit and Fiona have stepped down from their positions as President and Secretary thankyou guys for all the time and effort you have given to keep Peel alive and you should be proud of where the Club is now.

Our new Club President is Mark Andrzeski who has been a committee member for the past few years but has taken the challenge and Iam sure Peel will only get stronger in the following years. Bec Goodlich is our new Secretary so she will sit along side Mark to keep an eye on proceedings. Bronwyn Andrzeski has put her hand up for the Club Registrar’s position so Mark and her can keep an eye on little Petey. Chris Robinson is the Tresurer and his partner Sarah Adams has joined the committee along with Bukit, and I have kept my position as Club Development and Web Site duties.

Saturday was our end of season party at the Rockingham Hotel, Peel has a Mtb dedicated room on the side with heaps of bike related memorabillia if thats how you spell it? First of we had the committee meeting to fill all the available positions then trophy presentations followed, I will have the results up as soon as my head ache pisses of.

So we started destroying our $25 bar cards at the Rocko Hotel while Gritzy put on a show he was so wasted he could barely stand, then we headed to the Swinging Pig and that joint was going of with some band which wasnt half bad, Triggaz and chrisso and Myself set the dance floor on fire! busting out all the moves, we stayed there untill about 12 then the 3 of us kicked on to Liquid Night Club until about 4 when Triggaz decided to shut it down thank god he did I was trowelled.

Little Sprogglet thought he might be able to shave a few seconds of his run times by shaving his legs but he used a blunt razor and pressed way to hard!

What really happened was he was doing runs up in Helena Valley and went down hard into some rocks and belted the piss out of his thigh, and now he cant move it.
