Sam has stamped his authority again on the World Cup circuit with a win in Mount Ste Anne. Just to answer the questions on the front page, Bryn didn’t race as he had a broken wrist, Rando destroyed his rear rim in qualifying and didn’t even get to the bottom, and Kovarik wasn’t at the race at all.

The timing crew apologises for any delays or in correct times on the day, we had a few teething problems because it was our first race for the new Commitee/Organisers.

Send me some pics of the day or any other random stuff that I could use.

Sam Hill pulls of the greatest performance in DH for years by pulling 3rd in a heavily rain effected race. All the fastest qualifiers were effected by rain and the final 20 or so riders couldn’t even touch the top tens times except for Hill. It really is just one of those runs you can only shake your head in amazement. Word is that he had a crash in his run as well…….
