You may be aware that the Peel Trails Group in partnership with the Department of Environment and Conservation and the five local governments of the Peel Region have commissioned Tredwell Management to undertake a review of the Peel Region Trails Master Plan (1999).  As part of this review process we are conducting a survey of people who have an interest in trails in the Peel Region.

The survey is an internet based survey and can be accessed by clicking on the link below.  The survey will only take 5-10 minutes and we would appreciate if you could complete the survey and forward this email to other people that you think may be interested.

Link to survey:   http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=DwiEV_2fbQ4FIeB0bRdhVvBA_3d_3d

The closing date for the survey is 27 June 2008.

Thank you

Sadly the news isn’t good for Matti Lehikoinen (MS-Intense/Red Bull) who we reported during our Fort William coverage had crashed in training on the bridge in the wooded sction of the course where he tore open his leg above the left kneecap.

Preliminary examinations have been non-conclusive about his inability to lift his leg properly, but the doctors have immediately ruled out next week’s World Championships, and feel a recovery of 2 to 6 weeks is in the works. Scans will be done shortly to get some images of inside the knee area to see what the tendons are doing, and we’ll all know more then.
