Steve Peat becomes the greatest of all time in world cup racing setting the new record at 17 wins.
Not without a close scare from Gee atherton 0.02 sec behind and Sam Hill blitzing the first split but having an off some where down the course finishing back in 31st position. And Mick Hannah, rumoured to be as crook as dog finishes his 3rd WC race return with another podium.
